Internet Visibility for Strengthen the National Protected Area

Along with their on-going efforts to promote the workshop sector and as one of their main areas of focus, the project management conducted and arrange training workshop for 1 day in internet visibility the knowledge of working with the Writing content and drafting the news through the Internet within the Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources and partners of SPAS. As the project targeted Strengthen the National Protected Area, the workshop focused on achieving these goals by enhancing the technical skills of working with the website contains for EHCENR and partners. The workshop took place in IRDC -Future University in Khartoum at November 30, 2022. The Workshop aiming at working with SPAS project from the HCENR departments and partners, the workshop emphasized on advance contain writing and news mainly on the preparations of dataset relevant to HCENR activities and partners the workshop was attended by 13 participants representing different departments such as (forestry (FNC), Wildlife, HCENR Khartoum, Ministry of Agriculture, and IT& Media Department in HCENR).

The workshop opened by welcoming speeches by Mr. Abd EL hafiz , National project Manager, Mr. Taring Elkhair Suliman Internet Visibility  project expert, Following the formal opening, participants introduced their self to enable to know each other.

After the welcome, the presentation starts with an Introductory lecture on the following topics:

  1. Introduction to the SPAS
  2. Objectives of the SPAS
  3. The Role of the partners in the project
  4. Concept of the Internet Visibility
  5. CMS Futures
  6. Practical applied for CMS
  7. SPAS Website.

The outcomes of training : – 

  1. social media and web sites for spreading PAs conservation
  2. Participants increased their skills ln web management
  3. Improved their writing skills
